Speaking of Arnel Salgado

Was reading a totally unrelated post regarding the 'whiz kid' hoax from Gwen's blog and something at the end of the news report caught my eye: Arnel Salgado is the principal at the fake whiz kid's school. Of course, it could be a different Arnel Salgado, totally coincidental perhaps. Pero malay natin nabagot na siya sa Baguio at bumaba na pala siya ng Maynila para dito maghasik ng lagim. Nyahahaha!

But going back to that whiz kid thing, that's just so totally sad. Imagine that, ang simula at dulo pala noon ay dahil KSP sila--and that's just to put it lightly--it's always deeper than that. "We lied because no one loved us," sabi nila. Heartbreaking. I can imagine that mom's eyes all aglaze when she was telling her little girl that yes, oh yes, how good it was that they won, that they triumphed despite everything evil thrown on their path. And then this. Parang kung ako nga yung nasa lugar ng kid na yun, I might think of the Ringu book.

Pero just in case that Faye Nicole San Juan is reading this, don't give up. There's life after infamy. Just look at Kris Aquino. (I just had to bring that in.)
