Madam Auring

According to this blog, Madam Auring and Patricia Evangelista are the top result of students' research based on google hits. I can understand the Patricia Evangelista ek, but Madam Auring as a research paper topic? Hehehe.

If we're going to follow this logic, then based on the google hits on my blog, students must be doing lots of research on boldstars and r18 movies. But based on 2 Eng10 classes, this semester's favorite research topics include RPGs, Japanese anime, advertising and cosmetic surgeries. And oh, metal music. I've been informed to death about these things.

On a related note, we took up The Diva's speech versus Evangelista's blonde and blue eyes chuva and we all agree that the latter forwards a globalization that doesn't foster differents. Her working assumption is that everyone is equal and cosmopolitan and it's not really too bad that we all have to go abroad because then, we have something to look forward to. I.e., the going home part. Other than that, everything is all right. On the other hand, The Diva claims that the world is not alright. It denies difference and unity is just a sham. Blah blah, blah blah.

Wala lang. I've had it with checking. I had to stay home today because of last weekend's paper checking overload. I swear, I don't want to see another paper on RPGs ever again.
