Please try the following: sábado, enero 31, 2004Okay lang siguro dapat yun Astrid. Dapat bang maging discriminatory ito? Ang mahalaga naman yung peer monitoring (na kailangan pala ni Jessel ngayon). So, go! I'll have to try to keep to the regimen though, just so I can finish off the books I've accumulated from various book sale joints. Anyway, remind me of Last Order (and buko pie!) when we next meet. May isa pang tanong dun: "Ano'ng mas pipiliin mo, ubeng lasang tae o taeng lasang ube?" Book number two is something Amy lent me because the story I was sounding off over lunch reminded her of this. Therefore, despite my headache, I wove my way through Italo Calvino's Invisible Cities. Damn remarkable read! Kublai Khan's empire is collapsing to ruin. Enter the Venetian merchant with his stories of all the cities of his journey. Marco Polo describes the cities he visited to the Khan and because of the great language barrier, Polo had to use emblems and knickknacks from his knapsack along with gestures and sounds. There was excellent use of the chessboard, by the way. There is an oppressive silence on Polo's Venice and the Kublai's capital. Then again, as Polo says: "What else have I been talking to you about?" It's been hours since I finished it. I'm richer definitely, but I am lost. I don't think I ever want to be found.
