KUTING INVITES APPLICANTS FOR MEMBERSHIP

KUTING (Kuwentista ng mga Tsikiting), an organization of Filipino writers for children, is inviting all writers 18 and above interested in writing for children to apply for membership. The Kuting Orientation Seminar will be held on 20 September 2003, 1-5 pm at Conference Rooms 1&2, 1/F Social Sciences Building, Ateneo de Manila University, Loyola Heights, Quezon City

Interested parties must prepare: 4 hard copies of samples of their work for children (18 years old and below), published or unpublished, in English or Filipino, in any of the following genres: 1 fiction manuscript (not more than 12 pp.), or 5 poems, or 1 TV/Film script, or 1 one-act play.

Entries should be set in Times New Roman font, 12 points, double-spaced, in a letter size bond paper (8 1/2 “ x 11”) and with one inch-margin on both sides (only for short stories, essays, and plays). All of these materials should be submitted with the applicant’s resume and two 2” x 2” colored photos, in one legal-sized brown envelope during the KUTING Orientation Seminar.
